Anthony Roberson is a Manchester Giant
Anthony Roberson is the latest addition to the Manchester Giants for the 2022/23 BBL season.
The 27 year old 6”5 guard from San Antonio Texas started his career off at Wagner high school alongside current Utah Jazz guard and sixth man of the year winner Jordan Clarkson. After high school, Roberson attended Weatherford in the NJCAA where he led weatherford to the regional tournament.
Their first appearance since 2012. In the 2017-18 season at the University of Central Oklahoma, Roberson averaged 15 points and 3 assists per game, making him part of the all big 12 third team of the season. After a stellar season there he signed for the NBA G league team the Oklahoma City Blue as an affiliate player in 2018.
Three seasons at OKC Blue followed where Roberson played a total of 41 games over those three seasons with incredible efficiency and even shot 100% from the free throw line this past season. As well as shooting 36% from the field in 14 minutes of gametime.
Vince Macaulay is excited about his newest acquisition, he had this to say about it: “Anthony will be very integral to us defensively and offensively, he’s used to competing at a high level and this season will be a springboard for him to a great career”.

Anthony Roberson will take to the court for the Giants in their BBL Championship season opener against the Bristol Flyers on September 23rd.
