Ingus Bankevics created one of the most memorable moments of the season with a match-winning three on the buzzer at Bristol.
The Latvian had landed a three pointer moments earlier to keep the Giants on terms in a rollercoaster final minute.
But after the Flyers looked to have secured overtime at 89-89, Torry Butler found Bankevics in space and he took his shot just before the buzzer sounded and watched it find the basket, prompting jubilant scenes from the Giants players.

Bankevics said: “I was free, and I was showing with my arm I was free, and when I got the ball, I felt like no one was guarding me.
“I had a decent shot and the ball looked like it was going in, and I didn’t believe it had gone in!
“I was shouting Torry I’m free, he saw me, passed me the ball and I’m not sure what happened then, I just saw the big guys coming!”

Unfortunately, the joy from Saturday night was neutralised by a tough home loss to Glasgow Rocks on Sunday in what was the first time the Giants have played on back-to-back nights all season.
Bankevics added: “It was a tough game on Saturday, and the way we finished there was a lot of emotion. We got back at 2am and then played again so we’re not really used to that.
“We felt a bit flat, we tried but the ball just wasn’t going in as we wanted and we just didn’t play very well.”
