Coach Semonian reflects on tough Sheffield outing

Manchester Giants head coach Brian Semonian says his players need to pick themselves up quickly after a disappointing weekend in the British Basketball League.
Back-to-back defeats against Cheshire Phoenix and Sheffield Sharks mean the Giants are now without a win since their 94-80 success over Leicester Riders on October 14.
The games keep coming thick and fast - a trip to Newcastle Eagles next on the horizon on Friday (7:30pm tip-off) - and Coach Semonian admits his players need to show a greater ruthlessness in front of the basket.
"The guys are disappointed," he said. "We shot more field-goal attempts than them [Sheffield Sharks] but our percentages were really low, both on 2s and 3s.
"We've got to hit those open shots - we had a lot of them tonight.
"What's nice is we'll have a day off [on Sunday] so the guys can rest their bodies - we're still a little banged up with Legend [Robertin] and Will [Lee] hurt.
"We'll get back to it on Monday and come together. I know the fellas are looking forward to playing Newcastle on Friday.
"This week, we'll have to get back into the lab and get better."
