The last remaining game in the Manchester Giants schedule, against London City Royals, has now been confirmed.

It will take place on Thursday April 11 at George H Carnall Leisure Centre (7.30pm tip-off).

The game was previously scheduled for the final weekend of the regular season on Sunday April 28, but following the closure of Powerleague which caused all games from February onwards to be moved, a pre-existing booking meant this particular fixture couldn’t remain on the same date.

Efforts were made to accommodate it in the schedule elsewhere, and now this date has been agreed.

Meanwhile, the Giants two trips to face Newcastle have also been re-arranged by the Eagles.

The scheduled meeting on Friday December 21 has now been moved back to Friday February 8, while the Giants will also travel to the north east on Friday April 5.

It all means that the Giants’ final game of the regular season will be at home to Leicester Riders on Sunday April 21.
