Giants Confirm Brian Semonian As New Head Coach

The Manchester Giants have announced the appointment of Brian Semonian as their new Head Coach for the 2023/24 British Basketball League season.

Semonian joins the Giants following extensive coaching experience across the world during his career to date, most recently he was Head Coach of Maltese Division One team Depiro Basketball Club.

Furthermore, the American brings a wealth of top level knowledge having held the role of Assistant Coach at NBA G-League side Anaheim Arsenal. Semonian also coached NBA experienced players during a three year stint in various positions including 1st Assistant Coach at Venados de Mazatlán.

The Giants new Head Coach will assemble a roster ready to challenge domestically and hope to build on last season’s sixth-placed finish in the Championship table. Alongside his impressive coaching credentials, Semonian has also been involved in bringing through the next generation of talent to various leagues having held the position as one of the coaches for the American Select teams.

Speaking on his appointment as Head Coach, Semonian said:
