Jamell Anderson, Georgia Anderson and Myah Pace are set to participate in the British Basketball League’s inaugural all star game. 

The Manchester Giants are proud to announce that Jamell Anderson, Georgia Anderson and Myah Pace are set to play in the British Basketball League’s inaugural men’s and women’s all star game this April at the CopperBox Arena. 

Both the Manchester Giants men’s and newly formed women’s team are set to appear in London on March 17th in a contest of north vs south. 

Giants women’s captain Georgia Anderson is set to start as well as captain the women’s north team whilst Myah Pace and Jamell Anderson are set to make appearances off the bench for the women’s and men’s teams respectively. 

The highly decorated Jamell Anderson is the sole representative of the Manchester Giants men’s team for the all star game. The Commonwealth Games gold medalist is currently in his 2nd stint in Manchester after previously playing for Manchester during the 2021/22 season under Lloyd Gardner. 

The lockdown wing is currently averaging a career high 15 points per game as well as 4 rebounds and 3 assists on 42% from the field, 35% from 3 and 77% from the free throw line. 

The women's all star captain and the captain of the Manchester Giants is currently averaging 9 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game as she returns to the sport following time away in the 2022/23 season. 

Despite being away a season, Georgia Anderson has been proving all season long that it is still her league, she backed that up with a clinic of a game against the Essex Rebels back in December. Anderson finished with 19 points, 5 assists and was seemingly everywhere as she also managed to record a pair of steals and shot 47% from the field, 50% from beyond the arc and shot flawlessly from the line. 

Myah Pace has been electric for Manchester this season. The American guard is averaging 13.8 points per game as well as 8.7 rebounds per game on 40% from the field and 40% from beyond the arc. 

Myah really put the league on notice during her game against the Oakland Wolves with a staggering 28 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists on 64% from the field and 80% from 3.
