Manchester Giants Sign American Talent Myah Pace For Debut Professional Season

Manchester Giants have added the young American talent, Myah Pace, to their 2023/24 Women’s British Basketball League roster, signifying a debut professional campaign for the University of San Diego graduate.

Originally from Oakland, California, the 5’11” combo guard has proven her prowess as a scorer, facilitator and on the boards through a five-year collegiate career and brings further size and athleticism to the perimeter positions for the Giants.

Graduating from USD this past summer, Pace ranked 14th on the all-time scoring list (1,144), third all-time in steals (247), sixth all-time in assists (375), eighth all-time in made free throws (299) and ninth all-time in offensive rebounds (233) for the Toreros.

Able to play at either guard position or as a small forward, the 25-year-old’s adaptability and skillset will make the rookie a prominent piece in Head Coach Marg Jones’ rotation for the upcoming campaign.

On signing for the Giants for her rookie season, Pace said:

“I am so excited to join the Club for the 2023/2024 season! I've heard great things about the community in Manchester and the Giants organisation and I'm ready to get to work and take my game to the next level!”

On Pace’s League debut, Coach Jones said:

“We are very pleased to welcome Myah to the Giants! In her inaugural season in the League, Myah brings a veteran mentality and experience to our team. Having led her college team in steals per game, coupled with the ability to play multiple positions on offence, I know that Myah will significantly impact our team’s performance on both ends of the court.”
