Nicholas Lewis Back For Year Two

Manchester Giants have re-signed veteran guard Nicholas Lewis for the 2023/24 British Basketball League campaign after a strong debut season with the club last term for the British-Canadian National.
30-year-old Lewis has spent the majority of his professional career in the League, having won major honours with both Canada and Great Britain at junior international level previously.
An Americas Championship bronze medallist at Under-16 level with Canada, and a silver medallist with Great Britain at Under-20 European Championship Division B level, Lewis is also a title winner in the professional game as he helped the B. Braun Sheffield Sharks to British Basketball League Trophy glory in 2013.
Lewis has represented the Sharks for the majority of his career in the League but has also had a spell with the London Lions before joining Manchester last summer.
In preparation for the season ahead, Lewis said: “Manchester is the place to be, I'm excited to start my second season with the club and I’m happy I get to play in front of the Giants fans for another season because they were great last year!”
Head Coach, Brian Semonian, said: "Nick’s explosiveness and quick reaction time is world-class. It allows him to have a big impact on the game on both offence and defence. He seems to have a lot of fun when he plays, which will have a positive impact on teammates and staff."
