Rahmon Fletcher Retires from Basketball

2x BBL MVP and Manchester Giants captain Rahmon Fletcher has announced his retirement from professional basketball.

The Kansas City Missouri native had the BBL and it’s audience mesmerised with his basketball IQ, exceptional playmaking abilities and unstoppable left hand drives.

A true living legend of the league, Fletcher continued to put up impressive numbers during his one and only season with the Manchester Giants as he set the league record for total assists in a single season with 310.

Fletcher was part of the driving force behind the Giants making a 2nd consecutive playoff appearance

Fletcher also boasted an impressive 14.7 points, 8.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game in 36 games under Vince Macaulay. Such efforts also awarded him the Manchester Giants 2022/23 coaches player of the year.

“Just want to say thank you to the fans, supporters and volunteers apart of the Manchester Giants this season! Thank you for all your cheering and excitement brought to Belle Vue! It was a pleasure to play in front of you and get to know the fans!” — Rahmon Fletcher.

Everyone at the Manchester Giants would like to wish Rahmon the best of luck in the future.
