New year, same faces, though there is one debutant after producing the best performance of 2019.
Quincy Taylor (Surrey Scorchers)
Taylor makes the lineup for the first time this season after starting 2019 with the most points in a BBL game this season. The American fired in 42 points by the end of the third including six threes and also added six rebounds and seven assists in the New Year’s Day victory.
Chris Alexander (DBL Sharks Sheffield)
The Sharks guard posted his first BBL double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds to help his side to an overtime triumph away at Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks. Alexander shot 50% from 3-point range and also came up with two steals to go with four assists in the win.
Donte Nicholas (Plymouth Raiders)
A league-leading sixth appearance for Nicholas after another all-round display to help Plymouth Raiders to a third straight league win in December. He finished one board shy of a triple-double with 19 points, nine rebounds and 14 assists against Surrey.
Rashad Hassan (Plymouth Raiders)
Hassan joins his team-mate in the lineup for a Plymouth double after putting up 31 points on 15 of 16 shooting in the 115-100 victory over Surrey. The American also collected 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season in a clinical display.
Willie Clayton (Manchester Giants)
The Molten BBL Player of the Month for November capped off another strong month with 13 points, 20 boards and seven assists to help Manchester to an impressive 29-point win away at Sheffield. Clayton also registered the highest index rating of 53 in a loss at home to London after posting 29 points and 23 rebounds.
